I had my gastric sleeve done 8/27 . Now I'm having chest pains. Specially when I drink something. Anyone else experiencing this? And do I avoid it?

It's probably gas. Walk around. Rock in a rocking chair. Sip slow and small.

you may be drinking too much too fast. You have to sip. Use a 1 oz. medicine cup and sip out of it - like 1/3 to 1/2 at a time and time your sips 3 to 5 minutes apart. It gets eaiser by next week.

Along the same line - how long before you had both enough energy and were free from pain in your side enough that you could actually start exercising? I was sleeved the 17th, and still get a huge "toothache" under my large right-side incision. The longer I'm up the worse it aches. How long before the exhaustion goes away?

I'm in some pain at the moment. My lower chest aches. I can't even fart to get rid of the gas. Any suggestions aside of walking?

Have you tried Gas-X strips?

Gas x strips ? No I haven't. I'm afraid anything I take will mess me up some more.

The chest pain will go away within a few days as the gas gets absorbed by your body. I had quite severe chest pain for a few days.
