I've been reading many of the post here, and I see that many of you are extremely knowledgeable and well educated regarding this permanent procedure we have all elected. Before having surgery I felt like I knew everything there was to know, I constantly tried to educate myself, and still do daily, but now not even 3 weeks out I feel completely LOST. The first week post surgery everything went great, I was able to drink Water and eat with no problems, now almost 3 weeks out it seems to be getting harder to keep anything down. Today everything I ate I immediately threw up ( including water) is this normal? Every time I eat I feel as if I'm having a heart attack. I get this horrible pain in my chest and I'm unable to breath. Has anyone else experienced this awful feeling? Am I eating too fast? Too much? I'm on the puréed stage right now maybe I need to go back just to liquids a bit longer ???? I was only able to drink 16 oz of water today which means I will be @ the doctors tomorrow getting hooked up to an IV so I don't get dehydrated ( not ideal ) but I just can't keep anything down.
I'm feeling discouraged.
