I lost 18 lbs on the pre-op diet. It was tough at first but as the days went on it was like being on auto-pilot and not really feeling hungry. I'm a diabetic so my pre-op diet was probably not the same as most.

I lost about 11 pounds on my 2-week liquid diet. I had been dieting and exercising before that, so I didn't have the big drop in "water weight" that a lot of people have right at first coming off a super high calorie/carb diet.

I lost about 16 lbs. The caffeine withdrawal headaches the first 3 days kicked my butt. After that it was smooth sailing !

I lost 12 pounds in my 3 week preop diet. Actually lost weight faster pre-op than post-op
