Are pity parties allowed?

I'm just asking.

  • My friend helped me out by pointing out that in ancient times my thin friends would have all died in famines because they require so many more calories than I do. Due to my efficient use of calories

  • I'll join on on this pity party! I feel your frustration. A relative was sleeved 2 months before me & people are constantly comparing me to her. Different bodies, different starting weights, etc.

  • ROFL!!! Thank you for the giggle! ????

You can definitely have a pity party! Who said Life is Fair. Embrace those feelings and work through them. (in the past, many of us would "eat our emotions". I am trying to actually embrace my feelings now and know that these are normal. I just don't need to numb these with food. So... yell a little, acknowledge how unfair it is and then eat something healthy, exercise and move on. (of course this is easier said than done but our new healthy selves know that we can do it!)
