Carb questions

Can you ever have a taco again like with whole wheat soft tortillas? And I was wondering about whole wheat bread? How many carbs a day are people eating?

@@brandeett Oh course you can. I limit my carbs, some don't and do just fine. I usually go 30 or less a day, mainly because of all the protein. I ate a thin crunchy taco last week. It's one of my families favorites. I can eat anything I was able to eat pre surgery, the only difference for me is the amount and I do track all my food. Because of the fact I can eat whatever I want I have to pay close attention and keep everything in check. Everyone's different though.

I have stopped counting carbs, and I dont try to limit, I do try to take my Protein and veggie qouta. Still not eating bread or rice, my carbs come from fruits and sugar.

I typically stay away from most carbs, however, I do eat a wrap sometimes with a thin whole wheat tortilla. I think that if you are making it at home it would be much better for you so you know what you are cooking with. Don't try it for the first time at the restaurant. But, the reason I love this surgery is because of what @@Elode said above that you can eat what you want, you just choose to eat better now (atleast that's how it is working for me).
