My drain site has been leaking too, i sure hope that stops soon as im scheduled to be discharged tomorrow. Fingers crossed and send prayers please! I miss my daughter.... i want to go home.

Trust me, you won't drink too much. You want to stay hydrated, that will help you heal faster. Hang in there and welcome to the wls family

Initially you do have to take small sips but it will get better...take small sips and take them often...keep water in your hand, it helps!

  • At 1 day post op I could barely drink anything because I would get really bad spasming/burping/heartburn. But now I'm on day 3 post op and am able to get almost all 64oz down. You have to push yoursel

At 1 day post op I could barely drink anything because I would get really bad spasming/burping/heartburn. But now I'm on day 3 post op and am able to get almost all 64oz down. You have to push yourself and keep sipping - for me, the more I sipped (even though it hurt) the better I ultimately felt. Keep pushing yourself, but know that it gets better with time! Good luck!!
