Just had my consultation

Hello everyone!

I'm so happy that I found this forum. It's such a vibrant, supportive group!

I just had my consultation with my surgeon yesterday. He recommended bypass because of my BMI and that I have acid reflux. I originally wanted the sleeve but I'm feeling really good about getting bypass.

Unfortunately my insurance pays nothing so I'm self-paying. But I'll be able to set my surgery date within the month. I have to do a sleep study first.

I'd love to find some buddies that are having surgery in August and September.

Have a wonderful day!

Gina

Hi Gina, you sure insurance won't pay? Insurance should pay. I am having my sleeve done this month, in a week actually!
