A cold or allergies?

So my surgery is August 6, this Thursday!!! I am so excited????????????! But I woke up this morning with congestion in my head so bad, not sure if it's a virus or allergies! Please tell me they won't cancel my surgery! I have a call on to the surgeons office. Hopefully I will know something soon!

My want to call your surgeon and get advice on what over the counter meds you can take if any. You don't want to risk any complications with the anesthesia during surgery. It better in this case to error on the side of caution than to take any unnecessary risks.

Good luck on your upcoming surgery by the way.

I got a cold right before and was terrified they would cancel it. The dr ordered a chest X-ray and it was fine. Surgery went on as planned. I did fine
