Kaiser approval!

After six months of classes, nutrition visits, and completing all the other requirements I found out today that I've been approved for the surgery! Later on I got a phone call from the surgeon's office to schedule my consultation. I can't even begin to describe how happy I am right now!

Thank you both! :)

That is awesome! I go for my first appointment next Thursday. I can't wait to be where you are in the approved status!

I remember my phone call to say I was approved by my insurance. I was so happy I was in tears with excitement.

Is there anyone out there who are on the 2 week pre-surg liquid diet?

Congrats! I have Kaiser too and just starting the process. I had heard that it only takes about 3 months now. Were you told form the beginning that it usually takes 6 months?
