Well started to process for gastric bypass hopefully by october it will all get done so i want to know is there anyone doing this at montefiore hospital in the bx or is still in the process or if anyone has used health plus to get the surgery ...thank you ????

Welcome! I made my decision to do this one year ago on my birthday July 30, had my surgery in Oct and now 10 months out I am down 110 lbs and feel GREAT! I never thought I would feel so much healthier turning 45, than I did the last 10 years as my weight jus kept going up and up. I hope your journey is even more successful! thank you ...wow if you dont mind what was your weight b4 surgery im 250 gw 160 im just scared my insurance takes a wrong turn at the last minute and wont cover it . But congrats on your new life im 35 mom of a 13 14 and 1 yr old baby im tryna live ????????????

I was 300 so I am about 190 now. I only weigh in once a week, so I don't see the ups and downs daily! I really did not have any complications at all and don't refer it at all. ???? I hope it all works out for you with you insurance. I had an exclusion on my insurance, so I was self pay.
