The Atkins ones were on the list for acceptable shakes my surgeons office gave me.

look for the biggest bang for your Protein "dollar" and look for low carb/sugar...try many til you find one you like! Good luck!

Atkins only have around 15 grams of protein. Everyone I know uses Premier Protein and that's what I plan to use after surgery.

I like the EAS shakes the best. But the protein count is so much higher in the Premier. Have you tried the strawberry and vanilla ones. I can't drink the chocolate very often.

I try a few and found one that I like called SYNTAX Nectar, you can by the sample powders at The Vitamin Shoppe if they have them in your area. I have tried the chocolate, vanilla and a tropical flavor I can't remember the name of the tropical one but none of them leaves that nasty bad breath after taste in your mouth.
