I would talk to your surgeon's office. You would probably be ok, but might be a bit uncomfortable. I drove myself to my 1 week visit and it was 45 minutes away. It wasn't bad, but I was tired!

My surgery is scheduled for 8/3 and we had previously booked a vacation rental August 9th about 3 hours from our home. I wouldn't be driving and we would be stopping every hour to stretch. Once there I would be in full relaxation/recovery mode. Also there is a hospital about 20 minutes from the house. Does this seem feasable? Has anyone else had to travel that soon after surgery? I can stay home if needed... feedback would be great
