When will eating become a positive experience again?

I was sleeved on 06/15 so it's been over one month. Eating still hurts my stomach and makes me nauseous every time. Drinking is the same but not as bad. Weight is coming off fine which I am so thankful for. Just a little concerned about why when I eat anything after one bite, it hits my stomach and pain and nausea are immediate. Is this part of the normal healing process?

I had the same issue. My doctor prescribed two meds for me that worked immediately. One was an anti-nauseousness pill and the other was a med that kept my stomach from cramping when food hit it. That second one was the one that gave me back my ability to eat a bit more comfortably. Until I started it, I threw up every time I ate anything.

Ask your doctor!

Lipstick lady, do you know what the name of the medication was that made the cramping happen less?

My doctor prescribed Methocarbamol for stomach cramping. I was sleeved on 7/28/15 and I haven't been able to keep anything down just yet. Trying to figure out what will stay and what won't. All protein drinks are out for now. They immediately hurt and come back up.
