I asked my doctor and NUT this question. I will be on full liquids for my first 3 wks and they both said as long as the smoothie would easily strain through a mesh strainer I could have them. For me that means I will have to Water mine down quite a bit as I usually prepare thick, but will be able to drink from the start if I want. I have a RAW Protein powder I am planning on adding to mine.

The other thing I've thought of is just doing the RAW protein mixed with coconut milk. The raw protein has a lot of good greens in it.
