Texas - December 2015 Surgery

Hello all!

I am excited about a potential Dec 2015 surgery date (UHC requiring a 6 month nutritionist oversight). I'm 35, have had one child, 5'8", 265. I've struggled with my weight since law school (2002-2005) and have done the yo-yo thing. I'm "healthy obese" as my doctor calls it- great BP, chloresterol, and energy levels- I just can't seem to lose the weight.

I am excited about the journey and hope to get down to 165 from 265.

Nice to meet you all.

E

I am also hoping for a December surgery date. I saw my pcp last week. He referred me. I should start the 12 week options program (Kaiser) sometime in August. I can't have the surgery as soon as I finish the program because it is my busy time at work. I am 5'4", 240. I have 3 kiddos, 4,3,1. I am also a healthy obese person. My blood work is flawless. Congrats to you on taking this step! I'm sure we will both make amazing progress :-)

I am also hoping for December. So excited and ready to start this. Can't wait!!!!
