I got my phone call this AM - Im APPROVED. I was originally denied by my medical group - filed an appeal with my insurance provider (DENIED AGAIN) , just to file a second level appeal and be approved. Thank You Jesus! Now for my surgery countdown. 11 days and a wake up - July 20, 2015!!

Congrats I finally got approved TODAY after two denials. It took a peer to peer with my surgeon and Cigna to get approval. So excited. July 31st is less than 2 weeks away!

WOW! That's great! I am so excited for you. I cannot believe they gave you the run around. I hope that doesn't happen to me too. I am going to do my best to get everything done they are requesting. So when is your surgery?

I got approval this morning.Been fighting with ins cigna for this since Feb.Turned down twice third time was the charm.I changed doctors after denied twice.So don't give up ladies.Once I changed doctors it was a breeze.Make sure u find a doctor with a good coordinator. That's the trick.Omg finally I'm so excited.Also my bmi was 35 that's why I had trouble with Cigna.But I'm in 14 meds.Plus I'm a diabetic so guess Cigna seen I needed this surgury.I'm 5'2 190 lbs.So 60 lbs will make such a difference.Good luck everyone.
