June 2015 sleevers

Looking for other June sleevers to see how they're doing. I had the sleeve on June 10th and seem to have a very different diet than what I see others are allowed...also I didn't have to do a diet before surgery. My weight was 231 and I'm 5"7' I'm now 214 and the scale hasn't budge in almost 3 weeks ????

I was sleeved on June 9th and was 239 on the day of surgery, but my HW was 244. I stepped on the scale this morning and was 218, but have definitely slowed down the past week or so. More than weight,

  • I was sleeved on 6/4. I was 5'11 418 on April 20th. I lost 45 on the pre op liver shrink diet. And as of today I weighed 330 which is a total of 90 lbs! Can't wait to see how far I can take this. Good

I'm also having major hair loss, I think I have to up my protein intake. I've also noticed mucus build up after eating. Still unable to eat more than a few bites unless it's soup. HW 454 SW 419 Weight as of 10/20 332. I'm happy with my results but worried about my hair, thank God it's thick.

Feeling so great!

I'm having hair loss as well, but on flip side I fit into a costume :)

My hubby had to clean the drain in our shower and I swear there was as much hair in the drain as there is on my head!!!! I need to remember my protein shakes more often I am afraid!!

I get discouraged sometimes because I feel like I haven't lost as much weight as I should, but today I made a side by side of myself and was blown away by the difference. June 1st surgery date.

Having major hair loss. Cut 6 inches off my length, hoping that taking some of the weight off will help.

Me too! I'm freaking out! Surgery was 6/12. I am down 75lbs, but getting super self conscious about my hair :(

Took another 6 inches off on Saturday. I can't quite tell but I think my hair is coming out less. Most of my loss is in the front. I can actually see my scalp. I think I might be turning in to Homer Simpson. Weight loss has been good. Have loss close to 90 pounds. Had sleeve surgery on June 10th. Feel good, just need to exercise more. How is other "June Sleevers" doing?

I hit my first goal on 11-14 weight 199 yippy!

This was my fb post for today:

I am sooooo excited!!!! I finally got out of bed at 6:10 after a really bad nights sleep and followed my morning routine. Went to bathroom, then I jumped on the scales, I can't believe the number!!!! So I weighed myself three other times, and still the same!!! Sleepless night is no match for being so excited!!!! I am DOWN 76 pounds!!!! I have been really watching what I eat and drink the last week because of the holidays coming up and didn't want to be set back. I guess it is working and the scale numbers are dropping to prove it is working!!!! I celebrated by giving the girls money to stop and get a drink and a donut or something. Figured they could celebrate for me!!!! I am only about 20 pounds away from my goal!!!!!

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I will share a little with you all since that is what this site is all about.

Starting weight Jan.8, 2015-265lbs

Surgery weight June 15- 240 lbs

Today's weight- 189lbs

I have not been this weight since high school, about 21 years ago!!!

I was sleeved on 6/25. I'm down to 177lbs. SW 235 it feels great.. I too am having major hair loss. It is really hard for me to wash and brush my hair. It's a little scary. I had a lot of hair. I also cut a lot of length off of my hair to give it a fighting chance. I also noticed the other day that my legs are getting all wiggly. Like loose leg skin. I've picked up the protein and the workouts. But that is somewhat disturbing. I guess wiggly skin is better than fat legs and bad health.

I had surgery 06/24 and have lost slowly. I lost 40lbs before surgery and 43lbs since surgery.

I have lost about 40% of my hair judging the size of my ponytail and its really scary!!

I have been losing it for about 3 months now and I keep praying every day its going to end soon and I will start seeing regrowth!!

Hey all you June sleevers...we are at or close to the six month milestone. Where is everyone? What is different for you? Are you happy? Would love to hear from everyone.

I, myself am so glad I had the surgery. I feel so good. Have had some rough obstacles like hair loss, some depression, and I so miss my Diet Pepsi but I have lost 100 pounds. My life improves daily. I wonder what the next six months will bring?

HW Dec 2014 296lbs

SW June 23, 2015 257 lbs

CW 184 lbs

Has my very first kidney stones first three months after surgery do to body adjusting to high protein diet. But no other issues so happy I had the surgery.

Did my first 5k in Sept and 2nd one next week. Lots of energy and love working out.

Doing well. Stuck in a wicked stall for the past 3 weeks though. SW: 257 CW: 191 Dying to get out of the 190s. Thinking about doing a protein shake diet for the next 5 days.

Highest weight:265

Surgery weight:240

Current weight:190

I have been doing good, but I go a week where I lose a lot of weight, then go a week of two without losing. Then I change things up and start losing again. Currently I have been in a stall for two weeks going on three this week. So I joined the gym on Friday instead of going as hubbies guest. Worked out almost everyday so I can get the scales moving again!! I am excited with losing 75 pounds and knowing it will never come back on. I am pretty comfortable with the measuring and weighting out food. I have a favorite bowl that I use and that is it. I love my small bowl because I don't have any problems with over eating even a bite, I believe the bowl must be a little smaller than my pouch as I eat and am full and satisfied. Hair loss, more than half my hair is gone, but I feel better and look better so it does not really bother me. I would do this journey all over again:)post-255575-14491160331531_thumb.jpg
