Pre op protein shakes causing tummy issues

Hi all

Has anyone else done the pre-op protein shakes and gas tummy issues? I am two days pre-op and my tummy is just not getting used to the shakes. My stomach doesn't hurt at all but I hear constant grumbling (not hunger) like bubbles in my upper tummy underneath my left rib. I am not having any problem having a bowel movement but very soft. Sorry, TMI. Lol. Any help is appreciated!!!

Try changing the type of Protein shake you are using. I find that if I use soy protein I have the same problems. whey powders work better for me. Just a suggestions. Hope you find something that works for you.
