Post op

So last week I started my soft food diet, after a month of only liquids. I have not lost any weight since. I am freaking out, I am not getting too many calories and I am exercising 30 mins a day and yet nothing

I'm only 1 week post-op but still on liquids and really haven't lost since coming home from hospital. Did you lose a lot on the liquid diet? I lost 12 pounds in the 1 week pre-op liquids so I am trying to tell myself that my body is just catching up. You are down a total of 42 pounds? That's really good. I'm down 30 total from my first appt in January.

Not sure I am of use other than to stay I feel that I am in the same boat and we just need to be patien. :)

Your body will go through survival modes as your body is changing and from one type of diet to the next. I am going through the same thing for three days I didn't love anything and this morning 2 pounds gone. We need to remember weight loss is not just the numbers, but also the inches. We did not put this weight on in a month, so we have to allow it time to come off. If we keep following the rules it will happen. I was 218 in January and today I am 189.
