Hi all!

I am new to this site and just made the decision to have the gastric sleeve surgery a few weeks ago. I am currently waiting on my first appointment with my Dr.(6/15) and to make sure I will be financed for my surgery.

I will have to say that waiting to see if I will be able to have the surgery is nerve racking, and actually making me stress eat. I really hope that everything goes as planned. I am a professional horse trainer and give riding lessons and really just want to be healthy for my clients and of course myself!

I have been reading through some of the different posts and everyone seems super nice! Here's to hoping and wishing for approval!

Welcome and good luck to you! The anxiety of waiting is real for sure! Try to choose healthier things and it really will help you transition to post-op choices. Also any weight you lose now is weight you don't have to lose after surgery! Congrats!!

Thanks for the welcome! I have chose a healthy eating lifestyle and have done really well with it. I normally don't like sweets but with this wait seems like I have been craving them more than normal. I am excited for the future.
