I started my research 6 months ago and finally decided on the sleeve. I am 210 lbs and 5 foot tall. I have just finished my nutrition visit and psyc eval. Now just waiting on insurance. Only snag my be 3 month supervised diet. When I first started the process I called HR and she stated I did not need one on our plan and showed me the webpage with the prerequisites and no 3 month diet needed but bsbc rep said I did need one. So Dr is going to submit the papers and see what happens. Why is it so hard for everyone to be on the same page!! Crossed fingers!!!!!

I'm in the same boat- I just had my last of the 6-month visits yesterday. The office submitted my paperwork to the insurance right after my appointment, so now I'm twiddling my thumbs until I hear from them. Or, more honestly, probably until Monday when I won't be able to take it anymore and I call the insurance company to ask how things are moving along.

Good luck to you! I hope they don't snag you up with the 3-month visits that they initially said you didn't need. Did you happen to keep a log of who it was you talked to?

Just wanted to update y'all. I got my approval, ya!!! EGD on the 26th and surgery in September. OMG am I nervous!!
