Can't eat

I am 5 1/2 weeks post-op and according to my diet plan should be able to enjoy some small meals. This however, is not the case. I am stuck with yogurt, cottage cheese and the occasional small bowl of cereal. I get sick every time I have ground meat...I don't eat fast and am barely getting a bite in. What am I doing wrong? Suggestions?

I had trouble with ground beef, salmon and chicken. No trouble with steak, tuna or turkey.

I think my new tummy didn't like anything with a higher fat content.

Maybe try some very lean meats.
