Weight Loss Stall

Hello. My name is Vanessa. I had VSG done on 12-24-14. My doc is saying i am NOT losing the weight fast enough. I keep at about 1000 calories and have added 5 mile walks to my day. I was first stalled at 268 lbs.. now i am stalled at 248 lbs. He wanted 36 lbs off from my last visits weight of 278.. i have managed to get off 30.. been stuck for 3 weeks now. My 6 mth follow up is on 06-11-15. Am i just NOT eating enough calories and my body is trying to adjust here or am i doing something wrong? I don't eat a lot of carbs.. eat mostly Protein and if i do eat carbs, they are by lunch time. Last time to break my stall i had to go on a "bad food binge" for 3 days to kick start my weight loss. Did it like 3 to 4 times and got those few lbs off but now i am back to the same crap.. ANY Advice??

I say "screw your surgeon" you are doing great!! But if you are walking 5 miles a day you need to increase your calories to at least 1200. It will also help to jump start your system again but I wouldn't go the junk food route. Maybe a plate of pasta - just for 1 meal and see if that helps.

You say you are focusing on calories but barely mention your protein. Are you reaching your protein and water goals every day? If you don't get in enough protein you won't lose as much as you could. Maybe that is what your surgeon is noticing.
