Reflux?

my original post did not come through so here it is again:

3 weeks out from surgery today

Been taking meds for acid reflux since the surgery

No symptoms until two days ago but then I noticed a sour taste in my mouth a few times during the day. I also work up with it tonight while sleeping. No heartburn.

Pretty sure it is acid reflux.

I always jump to worse case scenarios and freak myself out. So I figured I would post this and hopefully feel better about it after hearing others' experiences.

A sour taste might also be ketosis? Definitely check in with your health care team though. If it is reflux, they can usually adjust your meds to take care of it.

Ketosis can definitely cause weird tastes in your mouth. Usually they are described as metallic rather than sour, but I have seen some people say sour taste for ketosis as well. Either way if it's an issue that goes unresolved after a few days, I think it's best to check in with a doctor.
