When I was first post-op, it took me an hour to drink an 8 ounce cup of Water. Now at 16 months out, I can drink a cup of water in about twenty minutes. It is so much easier to get my fluids in now.

not a big difference really and the more you can drink to stay hydrated the better you will feel. I am not as tired (post-op 3wks tomorrow).

Im confused in a way. Doctor's orders were to consume 2 oz of clear liquid every 15 mins. But on the paperwork he gave me prior to surgery it says 1 oz every 15 mins. Currently i am on the full liquid diet phase 2. Taking protein shakes and clear liquids for hydration. Any help would be welcomed. Just wanna know if im doing on by consuming 2 oz or am i overdoing it. I don't have any pain or discomfort when i do the 2 oz.
