Please Help with Drinking enough fluids

Hello Everyone!

I am new here, and very excited to meet all of you. I am sure everyone one will be a big help, since I am a new bee.

I am 2 months out from surgery. I have never been a good drinker and really don't like Water. I was wondering if anyone knew of something that is considered like water, but does not taste like diet.

Thank You For Your Help!

Also, if you surgeon allows, drinking with a straw was a real game changer for me. It helped me get my water down much easier.

I hate Water too, so I just drank flavored water, Propel, or the low calorie Gatorade. I think I lasted about a month before I switched back to drinking Diet Coke. Water is just so...blah. You can get creative though and infuse it with different fruit. I had watermelon and lemon in a gallon of water this week and it was pretty good.

I put flavor packets in all my water bottles. I either get Crystal Light or the Walmart brand or the Target brand. It gives me a nice variety

I use the squirt flavors in my Water -- I like that I can use less than a whole "packet" so it's not so sweet. I keep 3 or 4 in my desk at work and another 3 or 4 at home.
