Drinking between meals after first few months

Will I ever be able to drink anything between meals other than water? It says to avoid juices, milk, etc.... What do all of you drink?

I use the sugar free flavored water packets for variety. I drink 4-5 cups of coffee a day (with skim milk and Splenda). Occasionally I will drink a small glass of skim milk if I'm really craving it. Protein drinks, protein iced coffee, etc. iced tea sweetened with Splenda. They just don't want you to drink your calories, basically. Juice is lots of calories for very little, if any, nutritional benefit. Milk is usually for the same reason. Soda, don't even go there. Just be mindful of the calories you drink. I used to drink a tall glass of milk with a cookie or two and even my skim milk had just as many calories as 2 chocolate Chip cookies did. Just giving an example...now I want a cookie. Shucks!

I drink Mango Peach Mio in Water all day long. I drink way more than is required because I love it so much. My husband likes the Fruit Punch flavor. There are a plethora of flavors to choose from. Just find one you like, but I would stay away from the "energy" ones!

Good luck to you!!!

I have 4 flavors of Crystal Light packets/tubes in a Ziplock baggie, and 2 bottles of Mio type stuff, in my desk at work. If I am tired of water I fill my insulated tumbler from the Water cooler and drink one of those. I took all those water flavorings to work because at home I usually just drink water, because I still love water... but I also want something different sometimes too!
