Anyone have Kaiser and have trouble with primary physician post surgery. I'm self pay. Kaiser won't do surgery on me unless I gain 30 pounds. Even then who knows. Thx

I have had kaiser bay area all my life. i needed to lose about 65lbs- no co morbidites. they laughed when i asked..you are not fat enough is what i was told. hit Mexico 7/2012. kaiser took care of my complications (see my old posts if interested). do your homework, go back through old threads...you will find great info there. good luck with your decision...whatever it may be!

That's me about 65 with no other issues except horrible knees.

Because you're one of the few who had a lower amount to lose do you regret doing the surgery?

I'm 56 and worried it won't make much difference since I'm old.

I'll go find your post.

Thanks for speaking up.
