Hi everyone,
I have already started my 6 month documented weight management or whatever its called. I am waiting to talk to my Dr. about the sleep study I completed couple of weeks ago and hopefully with that my insurance will pay for my gastric sleeve. I am 46 years old and my current weight is 254.8 according to the scales yesterday. I am 5.5 1/2 so my BMI also qualifies me for the procedure. I am trying to get all the research I can on what I need to prepare myself mentally and physically for this new life change. I have only been overweight for the last 10 years and I am miserable!!!!!! I am at my biggest size ever. I just hope these next 6 months goes by fast........ until then I will continue to follow everyone's post and hopefully learn a few things along the way.
