Hi everyone. I'm so ready to get this party started! I met with my PCP yesterday and my Letter of Recommendation was sent to my bariatric office this morning. I've already checked insurance (Cigna Open Access in TX) and I'm on my way. I just wanted to check in and say hi. I'll be popping in again for sure! Keep up the greatness everyone!

Hi! I'm new here too. My first Bariatrician appt is on 4/27 and my first surgeon appt is on 5/4. I'm excited, nervous, impatient, emotional all at the same time. My insurance required 6 months of supervised weight management. So I guess I will be starting jumping through the hoops (blood, ECG, upper gi, psych eval, nut consult and monitoring, etc).

We are embarking on a life changing journey and I couldn't be more grateful for this forum. There is so much great advice and support here!
