Polyp found in Upper GI

I had to do an upper GI X-Ray and they tell me they found a polyp. I'm scheduled for surgery on April 20th and doctor wants to go in tomorrow and remove the polyp. Anyone have this problem prior to surgery? I'm a bit nervous that it will be something bad.

    Hi, yes i had a polyp in the fundus area of the stomach. It was found after my upper GI was done. A week later had an Endoscopy and polyp was removed. Also, had a Hiatal Hernia which was repaired during the bypass surgery.

    Don't worry too much about it.

    You will find a lot of people have them.
