Does everyone develop loose skin?

Hi everyone,

I keep reading about many developing loose skin and I'm just wondering and I have seen a few you tube videos - is it everyone that this happens to? Are there ways to prevent this from happening?

Feel free to share your experience and any thoughts.

Thanks!

I was a bit concerned about looses skin when researching WLS. Now I realize having my life and my health back far out weighs the loose skin issue. Compression undergarments do wonders. Plastics are an option if you can afford it.

No sure way to predict, like WillyBoo said it depends on Age, genetics, how overweight and how long at that weight... Anywhere you have stretch marks is a probable area of concern for loose skin. That skin has already been stretched past capacity and wont have the same elasticity to bounce back.
