Can't you smell that smell?

I'm 3 weeks into my 4 week clear liquid diet- 2 pre-op and 2 post-op. My diet consists of drinking Protein shakes, Water, diluted juice, and decaf tea.

I've been emitting an awful odor from inside my body. It's coming out of my pores and my breath reeks. It's such an odd smell!!

Beyond eating carbs there doesn't seem to be a "cure". What are you doing to deal with this?

Ketosis. Wait it out. It will only last a phew (see what I find there!?!?) weeks. In the meantime, mints and Listerine are your friends. It will pass.

  • I would suck on an Ice Breaker SF mint. Cinnamon and Wintergreen were my favorites. They are a fairly strong mint so mosto of the time I would only need 1/2. The bad breath/BO will go away. For me
