I was on pureed foods until week 4 post op. Not my favorite stage. I could not tolerate the texture of pureed meats si I lived on cottage cheese, yogurt, soFt cooked and mashed carrots and protein shakes. I was so excited when I got to transition to soft foods although it really did take some getting used to. I could eat three or four bites and I would be very full

I was eating a lot of chicken taco meat (cook it at home and throw it in the blender with spicy salsa for a good kick), refried beans, Greek yogurt, and scrambled eggs.

Eggs & yogurt. I had just started purées.

I'm 3 weeks out and still on full liquids till April 15. Was hard at the Easter dinner table

I'm eating yogurt. Cream of wheat, baby food chicken or turkey, cottage cheese, refried beans, lentil soup blended and split peas soup blended. Egg white from Costco I mix in a vegetable broth with 1 tbs of very small pasta. Like orzo or acini di Pepe.
