9 days post op

Am I the only one that is still dragging? I feel fine, I'm able to keep everything down & can sleep on both sides. I just don't feel like getting dressed and getting out. Is this common or is this something I'm going to have to make myself do?

You are going to have to make yourself get up and going. Also if you are not getting enough water it can make you feel very lethargic.

Need to get up and start moving.

It took three weeks before I felt alive. I barely had energy to make a cup of tea. I was getting all my fluids and protein in. So I rested as much as possible..really didn't have a choice. After the three weeks it got better. Now at 5 weeks I am probably 70% " normal." Energy level.

Im 8 days out and was just thinking the same thing. I am definitely feeling better, just very lethargic and tired.

I hate to say it but it's good to know I'm not alone :( I'm ready to feel human again. Tomorrow my hubby is going to get me out for a mall trip lol, that should do the trick :)

The first 8 days were tough for me. I am on day 11 and finally starting to feel better, but I may have overdone it the last couple of days, so outside of dance class with my daughter I'll be resting and hydrating this weekend. Hopefully the trip out will reinvigorate your senses and energy level. Best of luck!

So glad to hear this. I'm one week today and feel fine physically, but I have no pep in my usual step. Funny thing is day 3 and. 4 I had so much energy.

Congrats to everyone and welcome to the loses bench, you must move around and walk the more you walk the better you will feel remember to drink your protein and your water , you will be up and running in no time. Welcome to the new healthy you and keep us posted .
