I had my surgery on the 22nd Of March 2015, ever since I seem to be in fear each day of something going wrong. Has any one else felt this way? If so, how did you overide this feeling of fear.

Yep, me too. Fear is a good thing. It's there to protect you from doing stupid things. We've all heard the term "no fear", well I say "well managed fear". Use it as a reminder that you recently had major surgery, but don't let it dictate you decisions. Think about it this way, don't touch the stovetop because it's hot, but don't give up cooking.

My PA scared the crap out of me when I was in the hospital, she was describing in graphic detail what they would have to do if I overfilled my pouch. Fear is good in this case, just be careful and you will be fine.

Yep! As days went on I do get less fear but it's still there at 3 weeks post op. This is a very emotional roller coaster for sure! But a fun one!
