Stress test :(

What a disaster! I really thought that it would be a breeze but just I learned how out of shape I really am! My vitals seemed to be all over the place and my pressure was through the roof. I haven't gotten results but I'm almost positive I won't get clearance after that!

  • I was told that if anything was really wrong with my stress test they would not have allowed me to leave following it. I would go with the no news is good news theory.

    I was told during my stress test that they aren't allowed to tell you during the test whether or not you have failed. That a doctor will call you if there was anything wrong. And that no news is good

    Yes, no news is good news & worse case scenario, all the results get forwarded to your surgeon and they will have the definite answer and won't move forward unless all is clear. For all my tests,

For me the cardiologist wanted it done. i personally think it was to rack up $$ to bill ins. My surgeon only wanted the ekg but the cardiologist wanted an echocardiogram and stress test too. But I saw where many insurance companies here are requiring the extra testing/clearances.

Nope.. never had any issues. I guess he wants all of his patients to get clearance.
