  1. Thank you all so much! I truly feel like a new person!
  2. Update: I'll be 15 months out on the 26th wanted to post another progress pic!
  3. You look fantastic!! Congratulations!!
  4. Thank you all for the encouraging words!
  5. Thanks! The skin actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be. My stomach area was my biggest issue and pretty abnormal in size. I remember searching on here for pics and trying to find others who had a large belly like mine to get an idea of what to expect after they lost the weight. Most of my skin issues are in my belly area but it is not horrible. I am actually very happy with the way my body has adjusted to the weight loss...I think losing slowly has helped a lot!
  6. 10 months Post Op 118 poounds down!
  7. It's been a while since I've been on here and just wanted to share my progress. My starting weight was 314, I'm currently 196! I'm amazed at the difference and progress I've made! I wish anyone thinking about surgery or just beginning their journey the best! This was the best decision I've made and it has truly changed my life!
  8. Thanks! I'm a little over 10 months out now!
  9. I was sent home with a DVT machince, the same thing they put on your legs during Surgery. You may check to see if this is an option instead of injections.
  10. Thanks I still have a ways to go but I'm sure I'll get there!
  11. I'm almost to my 6 month mark and I'm feeling great! I'm 86 pounds down and have about another 75 more to go!
  12. More progress! I'm at my almost 6 month mark. I'm down 86 pounds and have about another 75 to go!
  13. Hello ALL!! I have not been on here in forever I hope everyone is well. I had bypass on May 27th (so not quite 6 months ago) and things have been going good. I've been losing slow but steady. I've had no complications and feel great. I'll try and post a pic of my progress so far. The before pic was taken in Dec. Of 2014 and the during is a few days ago! I'm down 86 pounds and still have about another 75 to go!
  14. Thank you all for all the positive comments...the extra encouragement really helps to keep me motivated!
  15. I would love to help in any way I can! I feel like I'm still a newbie and learning myself but I can msg you my info. There is a great support group in Owasso at Bailey that may have people further out to support you as well.
  16. @@IttyBit thanks! I actually don't weigh everyday, maybe 2 or 3 times a week...bad I know lol. I told myself I was going to weigh either once a week or every other. I haven't incorporated exercise into my day to day just yet so I'm sure once I start working out on a regular basis my weight loss will pick up.
