Post op day three

Still struggling with gas but not as bad as the first two days. Trying to walk as much possible. No BM yet hopefully soon though I'm kinda scared. Over all I think I'm doing pretty good. Getting my fluids in. A little short on protein but my doc said it's okay if I don't get all of it in the first week. How's everyone else doing first week post op ?

Day three post op as well. The gas is still giving discomfort. However, I can feel it moving around in there now., so I am hoping it will start to exit. I had a little poop accident earlier today when I though I needed to fart, so I know things are working. Each day gets a bit better. Just have this gas ball in the middle of my back that needs to be relieved. liquids going well, so far no nausea. I am walking a lot and that helps too.

This happened to me yesterday. I was leaving the hospital and waiting and tried to pass gas. OMG, this is not gas, better get to the bathroom! Sad part was I didn't even have anyone to tell. I was so excited that I went poop.; ) Oh boy.

Day 6 post op..it still Hurts especially on the upper left side..getting water in and ice chips..not too much protein though nothing tastes good..today tried the premier again and nope.. gas is moveing had bm yesterday. .when does the pain let up and my taste buds r changing daily..hopefully I can get some soup or something down later
