Good Afternoon,
This is now my third post on this forum. I want to thank everyone for taking the time to help me and offer insight into their experiences.
I attended my seminar on Monday and am going to set something up with the Bariatric Center in my hometown.
Unfortunately, my husband HATES this idea. He has loved me at every size but he has been pin thin his entire life. He says he has faith that I can lose on my own. If I can't lose on my own, how could I keep it off post op, why do I want to do something so dangerous.
I tell him my side but it's the same old story.
My mother is a nurse and condems these procedures as dangerous and only something people do if they are not well informed of the HORRIBLE side effects.
My BFF is the only one who supports me in this right now.
If I do this I will have to keep it a secret from my mother and father. I don't want to deal with her attempting to control me.
But I would also be doing so at the expense of my husband's peace of mind.
So conflicted. Advice? Personal experiences?
Thanks
