I'm scheduled for the 25th, next Wednesday. My emotions right now are off the chart! Not only am I hungry....day 8 of pre op diet but I am still feeling yucky from a sinus infection. Trying to stay positive but it's hard to do. Ready for it to just be done already!

Ive got my pre op physical and blood work today! I'm so nervous my hemoglobin level is going to be low again and that they're going to cancel

Mine is the day after yours and I've been exhausted. Taken a nap almost every day. You taking antibiotics?

Taking the last of my zpak tomorrow. Pre op is tomorrow.

Was the zpak part of preop? I didn't have to have one of those. Although my nurse told me to call if I felt like I was coming down with something so I could be put on antibiotics before surgery.

No the zpak is an antibiotic for the sinus infection.

Oh. Your lucky! I am congested in one nostril and am scared to call and ask for something because nurse said call and get antibiotic if needed but surgeon said it would be canceled if I got sick/needed antibiotic because its considered elective. I'm hoping its due to allergies or my husbands dog (allergic to pet dander)

Yeah mine was all allergies. So glad it came and went quick.

What time is your surgery? Mines bright and early at 730 am. Have to be at hospital at 5am

10:30 but not set in stone yet. I was hoping for an earlier time.

Im glad I got an early time. I'm not a big morning eater anyways so not being able to eat or drink anything before hand will be easy. Plus I have a two and a half hour drive to get up there. Being awake at 2am is not what I had planned but it'll be good because I'll be tired!

I'm only 45 minutes from the hospital. I'm having surgery in Tampa.
