Had gastric bypass March 2015. 258lbs and now maintaining at 120. Size 24 down to a 3. Need some plastic surgery if I can ever afford it. But extremely happy with my surgery.

2 years 7 months after gastric bypass. From 258 down to 125 and size 24 down to size 3.

I'm looking for a bypass buddy in Arkansas. I had surgery March 2015 and am looking for someone to keep each other motivated and share the experience with.

I'm actually smaller than my younger sister which has never happened before. Havent been this small since I was 17. Started my 1st job and have been there 7 months. Lost almost 140 pounds. I had gastric bypass in March 2015 in Juarez, Mexico. My surgeon was Dr. Rodriguez with BeLiteWeight. I lost almost 140 pounds. My weight goes up and down a few pounds but I also eat pretty much what ever I want. I went from a size 24 to a size 2. I have loose skin and want plastic surgery. I've been to one plastic surgeon and my quote was 32,000 to fix everything I wanna try to fix. I'm still a work in progress and every day can be a struggle. Oh never heard of that before. My labs have all been perfect though. I do the same thing at night too. I guess I'll talk to my doctor when I go in March about it. Don't want to not be absorbing my vitamins.

I bought a size 30 Miss Me jeans back when I was way too big for them and told myself one day I will fit into them. Well tried them on a few months ago and they were too big. Last week I went and tried on my first boutique pair of jeans and ended up fitting in a size 7! I almost cried. Sure is a big change from being in a size 24.

So great to hear. I've been worried about weight gain. My doctor just started me on Lyrica and I went home and started reading reviews.Lots of people complaining about weight gain kinda off putting. Helps ease me a little hearing real people not gaining

Was wondering if anyone's started taking Lyrica after bypass? Did you have a problem with weight gain? I'm looking forward to the relief of pain but not looking forward to weight gain.

I know it's kinda scary going for the psych evaluation. I had a history of depression and went was honest. I got a diagnosis of depression, anxiety, social anxiety and a unspecified eating disorder and that didn't stop me from getting surgery. So I think you should just be honest.

I love when my hubby makes chicken packets on the grill. Just take aluminum foil to fold into a packet fill with chicken and any kinda veggies you like. Add whatever kind of seasoning you like roll it shut and put on the grill. Make the packets for each person. I like that it can be made different for anyone and easy clean up.

Oh and can add protein powder to the batter.

Anyone try Carbquik? I've been craving pancakes so I ordered some on amazon. It's a little pricey but cheaper if you buy 2. 1 box for 20 or 2 boxes for 28. But I made pancakes for my boys and me this morning and they were pretty good. They are not as firm as normal pancakes but they taste good. Just on the soft side.

bellabloom thanks but I dunno if I'm skinny just yet. I dunno though what is actually considered as skinny though.

6.5 months out and down 108 pounds. 30 more pounds till goal:)
