Tips

I'm getting sleeved March 23rd. I'm definitely more excited than nervous but I was wondering if anyone had any tips of what to expect in the first week or so after surgery. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks in advance :)

first week don't expect a 20lbs drop. You will be tired and not hungry and feeling a lil bit of pain. You will feel like you want to get up and get motivated but this is major surgery and you will not be able to run a marathon or just on the treadmill. I recommend listening not only to your doctor and take their advice but listen to your body and try to understand that it is going to go through quite some change. Walk as much as possible, sip your water and get in as much protein as you can. You will not meet the standards of a ton of water or protein but do what you can. I wish you luck and hope your journey is a great one!
