Smoothies (made for you)

Does anyone know if smoothies (like at smoothie King or Jamba Juice) are okay during the nonclear liquids phase postop? Obviously it would be the "slim" versions and not having a full cup, but content wise, I wonder if they would be okay or would they be too much? Maybe for the mushy foods phase?

Also, would they be okay to use with the added Protein powder?

Thanks!

I love Jamba Juice and that was my gift to myself for my birthday :) I got my favorite small smoothie "Orange Peel" and had them mix my protein powder in. It was delishous and a good rare treat :)

I make my own smoothies, I told my doc about it and he said it was ok for a breakfast. I use 60 cal vanilla yogurt 1 cont. then add a bit of skim milk and some fruit. Frozen whole strawberries, crushed pineapple. bananas I even made one with banana and walnut. Mix it up in the magic bullet and drink right from the cup. please try it. andI have even made one up and froze it to a semi solid state .Ahh FAKE ice cream. try to make one you will be suprised at how good and simple it is to make.nd you can control the calories and sugar.
