I'm a little over 3 weeks post op......I get horrible pain while eating! Has anyone else had this problem and what helped you?

What are you eating. Is it anytime you eat or only when you eat certain things? Where specifically on your body does it hurt and what kind of pain is it?

Pretty much anything thicker then pudding.....and in my stomach and sharp stabbing pain

I called my dr today and he put me back on a liquid diet and might do an upper gi next week.....

I had pain like that, but at 5-7 days post op. Ended up to be reflux. The PPI I was on wasn't enough. Adjusted my dose, and added an antacid at bedtime. Took care of it.
