ThredUp

Was just reading an article on ThredUp, a site to buy/sell clothes & other items in good shape. I'll probably look at it once I get home from work, but was wondering if anyone here knows anything about the site.

Thanks!!

I have used Thredup. They have great deals and excellent customer service. My one complaint is that the pictures on their website don't show very well, and then they don't provide a lot of details about their clothing items. For example, do these pants have pockets? Stuff like that. But overall I've been really pleased -- it's especially good for more high-end stuff appropriate for work or an evening out. I tend to use EBay for more casual stuff.

Has anyone used Gwynnie Bee? Seems like it might be a good idea during weight loss.

I use Gwynnie Bee, but it's a little tricky. I started off with the 3 at a time program, but I couldn't figure out their logic for the closet items that they sent out. They are really fast at sending items out. I have found that some of their clothes run small.

@Bufflehead thank you! I've donated a lot but still have a lot of work clothes that are too big. Some still have tags on them - so I may check them out for my newer stuff, shoes, etc
