Need some suggestions

So I have been doing the "sandwich diet" that my Dr. recommended until my surgery. 1 week low carb, high Protein diet then 1 week of liquid diet and repeat. I am having some tummy issues and seem to be a little constipated. Any recommendations to help with this? Is this normal? I have a follow up with my doctor next Wednesday but figured I would ask here first.

Thanks,

Courtney

I'm not surprised at the constipation. Low carbs / high Protein can have that effect. I use Merialax. It's easy on the stomach has no flavor / taste and works great. I would try half the dosage at first if you've never used it before. Exercise and Water will help with that too. Walk a little more than you would and drink water water water.

best of luck!

I use Merilax as well. All the other things seem to taste funny. And the smooth move tea is over kill for me.
