Hi all. I am going to be starting my preoperative diet soon. What is the best or better protein shakes and other items should I be getting in prep for this? I have heard isopure is very good. What flavors? Do I get the low carb or no carb? Much appreciated for all the info. Chris

Love Premier Protein shakes (SAMs Club). Have to admit the three Isopure flavors I tried were terrible...you might love them though, others do. Good luck!

I tried Grape flavored Isopure and it tasted okay. The problem is that one 12 oz bottle of it costs close to $4.50 and that is too pricey for me. I also am using Premier Protein from Sam's Club. For the pre op diet though, I had 4 Adkins shakes a day.

@cfinch they are little cardboard bottles kinda like the ones we got in the school cafeteria back in the day but with a water bottle cap on it also try getting your insurance to pay for them not sure what ins you have but go to www.insurenutrition.com click where it says check eligibility and fill out the form if approved the will send vitamins also good luck
