Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong:(
During my week long pre op I lost 5 pounds and then from my surgery date of 1/29 to my first post op 1 week I had lost 11 pounds. Now this Thurs will be 2 weeks from my 1 week post op appt and I am exactly the same weight as I was at that appt!!??
I'm on purée diet, I drink one 30gram protein shake a day and I have no problem drinking liquids. I eat eggs, cottage cheese, soups, some meat puréed but it's hard, and refried beans. I know I'm less than 500 calories a day, not sure how I'm messing up. All I know is this beginning stage is pure hell and to keep watching the scale not move is torture. Any advice??
