2 months until surgery... how can I prepare physically/emotionally?

Don't have a firm surgery date, but my auth came in today! HURRAY!! They are expecting a surgery date of early-mid April. I wanted to know that with this time, what are some things that I should be doing to prepare emotionally?

Is it bad I'm having a "last meal" before starting the liver reduction diet? That's normal and healthy right?

What are some things YOU have/would have done with a month or two left before surgery?

I'm in the same boat! I'm also planning on a last meal before the liver reduction diet, I don't think that's a bad thing....

Any experiences or advice would be much appreciated.

Congrats to you!!! I had my "last dinner" every night for the week leading up to my surgery 10 weeks ago! ???? I was a rebel. Best of luck to you. Take this time and really let everything sink in. The life you know now will be gone... No more hunger or cravings. Best decision I ever made! Use all of the resources you have available regarding surgery. I had nine months of pre-op appointments and learned so much during that time. ????
